Lift Inspection Programs
Dielectric Test
Inspect upper and lower boom
(fiberglass, hoses, leveling system, etc. for any possible contaminants).
Dielectric Test of the upper boom, lower boom insert, over-all, bucket liner
and hydraulic oil in compliance with ASNI, A92.2-1990 and ASTM D877.
Operational and Functional Inspection
This inspection includes a
visual inspection of all critical, structural areas and an operational
test. All suspect areas will be examined further by performing magnetic
particle, ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspections in accordance with ASNI
A92.2 and OSHA 1910-1926.
Acoustic Emission Test
To be performed in compliance
with ASTM F-18 Test Methods. The data will be interpreted and recorded by
a level II AE Technician. Operational and functional test must be
performed prior to AE test. In accordance with ASTM F914-98, F1430-98,
F1797-98.
Complete Inspection
This
inspection will include all of the previously described test methods and
procedures.

Railroad
Tank Car Inspection and Testing:
In
accordance with AAR, FRA and 49 CFR Part 18509 this program
will provide and verify the structural integrity of the Railroad Tank
Car. The program consist of a Visual Inspection of the overall railroad
tank car, Ultrasonic thickness measurement of the railroad tank car wall,
and a acoustic emission test to provide monitoring of the railroad tank
car while under test load.
The Railroad Tank Car program can be performed at any Class
C repair facility.
